Hello friends, I’m Sansa! I’m a gorgeous calico lady with the tipped-ear badge of courage that tells you I’m a sassy little survivor who started out on the rough streets. I love my indoor life now and am more than ready to find a family of my own!
With the help of the nice volunteers here at Happy Cats, I’ve blossomed into a loving little companion, the first one to greet you at the door, happy to make new friends! As a Say Please kitty, I still appreciate being able to give my permission for petting, but once I know you’re kind, I’ll be your best little Sidecar Cat ever.
I love to snuggle right next to my favorite people, even if there’s another cat friend on their lap. I also love leaning into face rubs and may even roll over on my side and make biscuits for you!
I will definitely be your confident Kitty Admin once I get settled in. I love to be where my favorite people are, following you around to make sure your life is running smoothly. I also have a very sweet, soft purr to reward my humans with as I give you gentle headbonks.
As a TLC cat, I survived outside by being cautious, so new things may send me into hiding. But with my time building confidence here at the Haven, I should adapt to new things if they’re introduced gradually.
I really do love to be brushed and will come with my favorite brushes. It’s a wonderful way to bond and of course helps prevent hairballs.
Play is my love language! Playing daily with da Bee, Cat Dancers, feather toys, fleece or leather snakes and other small, quiet wand toys is big fun and will increase my confidence as well as get me moving.
I love my cat friends here in the sunroom I share at Happy Cats and wouldn’t mind going home with Bonnie, Autumn, Beanie or Miles too, your choice! We all may do well with another cat or two who is known to like other cats, with a gentle and slow introduction. We will blossom in a calm and quiet, stable environment with adults and older children to care for us and no dogs please.
As TLC cats, we will need a family or person with extra patience, willing to let us blossom at our own pace. This means we may need a month in our Safe Room, where we can learn how to trust our new family and acclimate to our new home.
Because I can go home with any of my friends, our Mixed Doubles adoption fee is only $100 for both of us! That includes our spay and/or neuter, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits, and a free well-kitty checkup each to help you get started. We will do best with minimum travel to our new home. It will be best to wait at least a month until we are coming out and interacting in our home until you take us to the veterinarian.
As a TLC cats, we also come with everything you need to support us while we become the lovable companions we know we can be. This includes a home installation by our favorite volunteers with tips for low stress handling and confidence building, a top/side loading carrier, our favorite toys & bedding and feline behavioral support if needed.
