Hi there, I’m Beanie! My friends call me the Queen Bean, and you can see why, with my soft smoky locks. I was rescued from trying to survive outside near the creek with a lot of other kitties.
I have a gorgeous black coat with smoky undertones. Fortunately, I love to be brushed and combed—especially my head! —so taking care of all that floof should be something we can bond over.
It may take me a little while to settle in but once I know I’m safe, I’m an affectionate little lady on my own terms. I need to give you consent to touch first, with soft blinks or leaning in slightly.
The way to my heart is definitely my favorite brush! Once we bond over brushing, I love to greet my friends with headbonks, body bumps and loud purrs. I love it when you talk to me, call me by my name and tell me what you’re up to!
I will probably be your best Kitty Secretary, ready to follow you around and make sure your WFH tasks are going well. I’m not a big one for being held, but I will definitely make a great Sidecar cat, a supportive companion.
They tell me I’m about 5 years old, but I still love to play like a kitten if I have the chance. Once I have my own family, I’ll love pouncing and stalking cat toys of my own. My favorite is my Cat Dancer, and I love to lie on my back and try to catch it!
I am also the smartest little lady and will even “sit pretty” for a little squeezy treat, on command!
As a Say Please Cat, I do have a few rules, you’ll be my hero if you can go slowly, quietly and let me tell you when to move forward or pull back. Bonus: I love it when I can choose to pet you!
I am very fond of other kitties and have been a friend and mentor to a great number of wonderful cats. I am a gentle and kind soul, as long as they acknowledge that I’m the Queen, I live in harmony with all my friends.
As a TLC cat, I’ll need a family or person with extra patience. I especially will need at least a month in my Safe Room, where I can learn how to trust my new family and acclimate to my new home. I will feel safe and adjust more quickly if I can have a cat tower or high perch to watch the world from.
I am looking for a home without young children or dogs, please.
I can be adopted for $120 which includes my spay, vaccinations, microchip, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.
I will do best with minimum travel to our new home and waiting at least a month until I’m coming out and interacting in my home until you take me to the veterinarian.
As a TLC cat, I also come with everything you need to support me while I become the lovable companion I know I can be. This includes a home installation by my favorite volunteer with tips for low stress handling and confidence building, a top/side loading carrier, my favorite toys & bedding and feline behavioral support if needed. I also come with my favorite horizontal scratchers that I love to scratch and lie on.
