Thanks to your amazing support in 2024, we found families for 774 homeless cats & kittens!
- 950 cats & kittens were saved, including the 774 who found their forever families
- 62% were our more vulnerable adults & seniors, with senior adoptions up 138%
- 914 animals were fixed, both in-house for adoptable kitties and in partnership with HSPPR for our community cats
- 52% of our adoptions were bonded family and friends, keeping cat families together
- 10% of our adoptions were graduates from our Onsite Behavior Program, scared kitties recovered by our team of loving feline behavior volunteers
- 12% of our adoptions went through our partner the Biscuit Factory Cat Lounge, allowing us to increase our transfer of at-risk cats from other shelters to 22%
- 78% of our funding came from cat-loving individuals just like you!
To put our work in statewide perspective, in 2023 Littleton found homes for 492 felines, Aurora 689, both Grand Junction shelters together 852 & Castle Rock’s Buddy Center 1,205.
