Leesi’s new lease…on life

by

This is a Goldilocks story about finally getting juuuust the right family for a very deserving kitty lady.

Pretty Leesi with her muted calico coat is one of our retired Hemo Heroes. They are rescued from shelters set to euthanize them and spend time at a blood bank, donating monthly to help save other sick kitties.

Shy at first, she blossomed in our sunny Boomer Room with other shy kitties and the help of our behavior volunteers.

But her shyness returned and her first adoption didn’t work out, so back she came.

Kimberly came in looking for a cat to share their zen space and safe outside time with, and Leesi won her heart.

A year later, Leesi is thriving! Kimberly tells us Leesi is a total sweetheart and her sidecar cutie.

She loves watching critters in the back yard and lounging in the window.

In playful moods, she’ll roll on her side and scoot towards her for belly rubs.

Even better, she now loves socializing with visitors and telling everyone about her days. Thank you for giving this sweet kitty another chance to show you the love she had inside!
