Mama Macaroni

by

Macaroni came to us as a very pregnant little teen mom, living in trees and chasing rodents as she tried to survive our Colorado winter. Lucky for her, she had lots of help from her foster family, as she soon had 8 babies to raise!

By the time these very active little ones found their loving families, our skinny little Macaroni was more than ready to find her own!

She really blossomed at the Haven, reclaiming the kittenhood she hadn’t been able to have.

Aliyah and her partner were looking for a young cat to befriend their kitty Mochi. Macaroni put in her bid to be the one and how could they resist?

Macaroni was shy at first and needed time to feel safe in her new home. Mochi also needed a little time, but with encouragement from their humans, they’re now at the nose-touching–and TV streaming!–stage.

Sweet dreams with your loving new family, Mama Macaroni…
