Sweet Honey came to Happy Cats Haven a sad little little girl. Honey had nodular lesions on her front paws that ran deep into her toes. Unfortunately due to the extent of the lesions, Honey required the amputation of two of her toes.

But that would not keep Honey down! Honey recovered quickly and was soon running, jumping and happily playing without any issues! Now Honey was ready to find her forever home!

Soon Sarah found Honey, and Honey found Sarah!
Sarah says Honey’s such a sweet, silly, and affectionate cat! Honey LOVES when guests come over and she is an exceptional host. Wherever her people are, she is. She follows me to the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom… She’s my little shadow! She usually sleeps on the pillow above my head and will occasionally lay directly on my head. About two months after adopting her, she started to cuddle! Now, she’ll cuddle with people she just met! Her favorite toy (and the only toy she’ll play with) are pipe cleaners. It’s been so fun and exciting to watch her personality blossom! I’m looking forward to spending many more years with my sweet Honey Bun.
