Love Comes in Pairs

by

A year and a month ago, a special pair of cats entered a home where they were destined to be loved. Biscuit and Charlie, a bonded pair who came to the shelter after a stressful move, quickly won the hearts of their new family.

When they first visited the shelter, Biscuit and Charlie’s future family were looking for a single cat, one that would be playful yet cuddly, and maybe even enjoy going on walks. Little did they know that Biscuit and Charlie would check every box and then some.

Charlie, the more outgoing of the two, absolutely loves his daily strolls in the yard. His harness-clad adventures are a must, and he’ll make sure to remind anyone who forgets when the sun is shining, a walk is non-negotiable. Meanwhile, Biscuit prefers to spend her days in the sun, curled up in her favorite window seat or on the back of the couch, watching the world go by. These two are now royalty in their own right, often referred to as “Sir Charles” and “Queen Biscuit” by their family, and it’s clear that they rule the house. Charlie, with his playful curiosity and his love for getting into everything, is vocal about his interests, trilling and talking as he struts from room to room. Biscuit, on the other hand, is the picture of elegance, loving every brushstroke and snuggle she can get, especially with her boy.

Biscuit and Charlie have truly become more than just pets. They’re family, filling their home with love, laughter, and cuddles. As their cat mom shares, “They are doing awesome and have been such a blessing and the perfect addition to our family.”
