Taquito the third musketeer

by

Happy 1 year Anniversary to Taquito and his family! Alexis says he’s maintained his energizer bunny aura and she wouldn’t change a thing!

  • He has what I call his saucer eyes. Just about anything excites him and his pupils get wide.
  • He loves to play fetch. He’ll bring me his favorite corn toy to throw for him endlessly as I watch TV.
  • He’s always cuddling one of his siblings. He cuddles them more than each other (and his siblings are a bonded pair LOL).
  • He occasionally drowns his bumble bee toy in the water fountain.
  • He’s a purr-minator 5000. He demands his love (rightfully so) and will loudly meow if you dare to stop petting him before he says so.
  • He prefers to sleep sprawled out, limbs everywhere on the cat tower.
  • He occasionally turtles (sleeps on his back).

Little Taquito with his cute gray nose and goatee was left behind when his siblings got sick and he had to be separated from them.

Even though he tried to befriend other kittens, he was a little shy and his friends kept turning out to be Party Animals who weren’t the best match.

Along came Alexis who was looking for a friend for her cats Apollo and Artemis. They are both cuddle bugs who love their people. Apollo’s play drive was a little higher than his sister Artemis, who loves long naps in the sunshine.

She hoped that Taquito would be both cuddler and playmate, their third musketeer, and finally he found his purrfect family!

She says, “Taquito is thriving with his new siblings!

He’s receiving lots of pets and play sessions.”

Looks like he gets his time bathing in sun puddles too!
