Precious gems Missie, Minnie & Loki

by

Missie, Minnie and Loki were saved from trying to make it outside with ringworm by a kind rescuer. She took wonderful care of them to get them healthy and adoptable, though they were a little shy with us when they first came in.
They found their purrfect family with Chris and Melissa, who have set up a kitty wonderland and delight in learning what the cats have to teach them about their needs.
They tell us, “They are still doing great and thriving ❤️. They have little cubby areas we set up around the home for them to hide or play in.
Loki is a hoot and has an affinity for anything that smells like cheese 😆 so we’ve learned to keep a watchful eye out for whenever these nomnoms are around. If he hears someone eating he will pop up immediately like, “Heeey…soooo…*swirls paw around on ground*…….you got snacks??👀👀👀” buwahahhahahahaha 🤣. Like he will risk all his nine lives to try and get a treat lololols. He’s been coming out of his shell more and we love to see it.
The wee ones are way more comfortable now and loving belly rubs. We’ve picked up on their petting habits and who likes what so that is awesome. Minnie is definitely top scritch catcher whether it be belly or back rubs lols. Missie loooooves booty scritches (it still cracks me up how she gets into position for it like she’s presenting a royal tush–she is a princess!), and Loki is the fondest of a good head rub. They all seem to love tail pets. They’re all precious gems ❤️.
They are the most polite and sweetest kitties ever ☺️. Even their meows are cordial, like I can’t even 😍🥰. Minnie is for sure the most talkative and wins for longest meow and grand entrances. They follow us to the kitchen or anywhere we go, and miss them any time they aren’t around.
The other day they found a yoga strap in the closet and were playing together with it. Chris made it a dancing tassel and then they quit 1-on-1 teaming up instead to tackle it lols. It was like a line of defense with Minnie and Missie lying down either side of a sitting up Loki. Missie and Minnie would attack from the sides and Loki could leap straight ahead for the prize 😽.
The living room space is pretty much their play area with their toys, cubbies, and scratchers. Set up sort of an obstacle course area too! It’s a table with openings in the center so they can run through and above with a blanket on top for lounging. Window access is available at all times for their viewing pleasure. We often catch Minnie and Missie in the window together with their tails crossing ❤️.
Right now we have them with Sheba portions wet food which they enjoy. Previously, we were getting Tiki Cat Baby wet food, but it was out of stock last time. We make sure to check all the ingredients to see what is best for them. They tolerated the switch well. However, we are trying to be mindful to not switch too much. Litterboxes are a breeze!
They’re all so beautiful 🥰 coats are nice, shiny, and soft. We were sometimes having trouble telling Missie and Minnie apart right off the bat which caused some funny moments. The spots are dead giveaways, their sizes and face width too, but have noticed now Minnie has like built-in eyeliner, and of course by their petting preferences. Also by how each of their fur feels so don’t even have to see them at first to know who is who. Like how Loki is more plushy, Minnie is sleek, and Missie has a bit more fluff.
They take such good care of each other. We’ve noticed that they prefer to eat together and only when they are in each other’s line of sight. Loki made a point to move their food bowls closer together a few times lols 😂 so we we’re like, note taken hahaha.
Our next feat is getting their nails trimmed some for their comfort and setting up their wellness check. I’ve included more photos! Please enjoy and thank you again for everything ❤️❤️❤️”
