Stunning lilac point Siamese mix Silhouette, known to his friends as Sil, came in as the elder statesman at just 3 years old from a hoarding situation so bad the children who lived there were at a health risk.
The other younger cats looked to him for comfort and he stayed in the back, stoic and frozen.
But with the help of our loving volunteers, he began to thaw.
We thought he might do well with another nice cat, but his first adopter’s cat made it clear to everyone that he didn’t really want any competition.
Claire came in looking for a kitten, but was won over by Sil’s big blue eyes and sweet purrsonality.
He loves his new life, and who wouldn’t, with his own cat tree and all the pets he can handle.
He even loves his new Cat Daddy too!
