Scooby gets a friend

by

Our handsome silver man Scooby was surrendered for a usual reason: his tiny tortie mom was unhappy with him and keeping him scared in the home.

He was a big shy when he first arrived, but soon showed everyone what a big loverboy he is.

Justin and his family wanted to find a friend for their 10-year-old kitty Atreyu, and Scooby fit right in! He says Scooby is doing amazingly well!

“We had a few days of keeping him and Atreyu separated but they warmed up to eachother rather quickly and were sleeping on the bed together within a week or so.”

He loves Atreyu’s food and Justin says, “His coat has gotten a lot softer and a lot smoother and while there were a few knots initially, there are none any longer!”

He says Scooby loves chasing toys, including feather wands but he does tend to destroy them and eat the feathers.

Both cats liked the top spot on the cat tree, so they solved that problem but buying them both a new cat tree. “The new one has two top perches, but now Atreyu prefers the cubbyhole and Scooby will split his time between the top perch and the bottom hammock.”

Looks like Scooby is the perfect personal assistant!
