Lily lights up lives

by

Sweet little white patched ginger catolescent Tilly was rescued by a partner shelter after someone threw her out of a car. On top of that she was completely blind when she came in.

When they went to spay her, their vet realized her nictating membranes (her third eyelids) were fused to her eyeball. They decided to take the risk and removed the membrane, allowing her to see!

You would never meet a more cheerful little lady than Tilly. She charmed everyone she met, even the crankiest adults in the Lobby. If someone had a hiss or an unkind word, she just smiled and kept on going! She had the cutest little chirp too, unlike anything we had ever heard.

Montaine and her family were looking for a friend for their creamsicle fellow Beaker. Tilly was such a Cat’s Cat, we were positive she would love him.

Sure enough, Montaine says, “We renamed her Lily and she is doing great! She is full of young-cat energy, and is just the sweetest liitle girl!

She loves our other cat, Beaker, and plays with him all of the time.

He likes her, too—we’ll often find them sleeping together. ❤️

Lily had her check up at Bijou Animal Hospital, and got a clean bill of health. We are delighted to have Lily in our life and love her dearly!”
