Make room for the magnificent Tristan and Gracie! Larger than life, both in person and in purrsonalities, these two senior siblings are so ready for their second act.
They came to Happy Cats when they lost their guardians, after being with them since they were kittens. They were scared at first, but had a wonderful start with their people, so recovered quickly with our kind fosters.
Tristan is the plumpalicious big brother with the luminous emerald eyes. He may start out watching to assess new situations, but that goes away quickly, especially once you call him by name. He will be your loving Kitty Admin, following you around to make sure your schedule includes the right amount of kitty biscuits and purrful kitty therapy.
Sister Gracie is a little smaller, a little more outgoing and has frisky white whiskers and tummy. She adapted quickly to shelter life so will probably be the Party Animal who meets you at the door, ready to meet new people especially if they call her by name. She’s a chatty little flirt and will flop and roll to get your attention, purring all the while.
Both are surprisingly agile for big hearty cats and are always ready to play when you get out the kitty wands, just like any little whippersnapper.
They’re both 12 years old, but don’t tell them they’re seniors, as they still have a lot of love to give and years to live, we hope! They’re both in good health now.
These big sweeties should do well with humans of all ages. They’ve lived with other cats and dogs and as long as Tristan has the territory he rightfully deserves, should do fine. But at this stage, they’ve more than earned their place in the sun so would love a quieter family to retire into, ready to give as much love as you’ll definitely get in return!
Unlike youngsters, you know who you’re getting when you adopt seniors. They also know what it’s like to be alone and lonely, and are so grateful to be loved.
