Hello world, I’m Tilly! I’m a sweet little orange tabby lady with bright white patches. I came to Happy Cats after I was rescued as a small kitten. I had been sick and my eyes were so infected I was blind. Someone threw me out of a car but some nice people brought me to a sister rescue.
It seems like a miracle to me, but they operated on my eyes when I was spayed and after that and lots of medication, now I can see again! I may need a little help with my tear ducts to keep my eyes clean, but I do a great job, considering what I’ve been through.
In spite of all that, I’m the happiest little cat you’ll ever meet! I answer to my name with a soft chirp and come running, ready for my next big adventure.
I love to play and will entertain myself for hours in a tunnel or with a ball track toy. Get out those wand toys and you’ll be able to tell my sight impairments don’t slow me down at all!
I may be a Party Animal but I’m still very respectful of other cats’ space, which makes me a cat’s cat who gets along with everyone. With a slow and gentle introduction, I should be able to get along with a nice cat-savvy dog too. I should do well in just about any home.
I’m about 6 months old, so through June, you can adopt me for $40 which includes my spay, vaccinations, microchip, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.
