Hi, I’m Tico! With my luxurious black fur and bright, curious eyes, I’m quite the little heartthrob. I may be a bit unsure when we first meet but give me just a moment to warm up and suddenly, I’m rolling around, purring, and asking for all your attention.
I’m a playful youngster who loves to chase rope toys and cat dancers, bat ping-pong balls around like a tiny athlete, and pounce on any mouse toy that crosses my path. I’ll never say no to a Churu treat, and I’m always the first one to hop into a fresh, clean litter box — it’s one of my simple joys.
I enjoy having other feline friends around and spend lots of time with my buddy Backpack. I’ve even seen a dog through a gate and didn’t mind one bit. Older, respectful kiddos should be just fine too.
I’m not quite a lap cat yet, but I love being close to my people — especially if they move slow and gentle at first. If someone rushes toward me too fast, I may give a quick little hiss just to let you know I like to take introductions at my own pace. But once I feel safe, I’m right back to being the sweet, cuddly, silky-soft boy I truly am.

I can be adopted for $200 which includes my neuter, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.

Kittens’ younger than 6 months MUST go with a buddy or to a home that already has fur friend waiting for them. Please allow 24 hours to process applications for black kittens during the month of October.
