Howdy, I’m Shuggie! My friends call my Shug or Sugar and I’m a big handsome silver tuxedo with the cutest dot on my chin! I have the size and beautiful flowing fur of my Maine Coon cousins, just no fancy papers to go with.
I came here when I lost my best human friend and that made me very sad at first. But the kind folks at Happy Cats have helped me recover and now I’m ready for a fresh start.
I may take a bit to warm up, but once I know I’m safe, I’ll probably be your best Kitty Secretary ever, ready to shadow you around the house and make sure your life is running purrfectly. At just over a year, I’m still very kittenish and love to play. Get out the wand toys and watch me run and pounce!
Once playtime is over, I’m very happy to trade purrs for pets, rolling on my back and flirting all the while. I used to go outside with a halter, so I would love someone who can continue to train me to go for walks.
I will probably do fine with other nice cats and older children, but probably no dogs or toddlers please.
