Hi, my name is Sangria!
I’m quite the little masterpiece, a mosaic of painted beauty with a soft and tender heart tucked safely inside. I didn’t always know what it felt like to be safe or understood, but I’m learning, little by little, that the world can be kind.
Because of where I came from, I can be timid at first. I’m looking for a cat savvy human who sees the beauty in going slow, someone who understands that trust is something I build gently over time. It may take me two to three months to truly open up, but I promise you, I am worth every moment of patience. Beneath my shy exterior is a playful, loving girl who wants nothing more than to feel safe enough to show you her whole heart.
Once I start to feel comfortable, my sweet side really begins to shine. I love to play, and I have a soft, affectionate nature just waiting to bloom in the right home. I get along well with other cats, and having a calm feline friend could help me feel even more secure.
I would do best in a home without dogs, as they are unfamiliar to me and I feel safest in a calm, predictable environment.
I am what they call a TLC kitty, which just means I need a little extra love, patience, and understanding. In return, I will give you something truly special, the quiet joy of watching me grow, trust, and become the love bug I was always meant to be.
