Hi there. I’m Royal, a 2.5 year old confident Party Animal with an adventurous streak. I was rescued by our partner JJ’s Helping Paws when I was found asking for help alone in the mountains. Now I’m on the hunt for a forever home where I can truly shine.
Yes, I’m named after Royal Robbins, the legendary pioneer climber, and I absolutely live up to the name. I’ve got a bold spirit and a love for adventure.
These days, I’m also a professional snuggle bunny, but I take my household responsibilities very seriously. I am your official greeter. Whether I’m deep in a nap or busy with a toy, I will come running to welcome you home. I am also an excellent lap warmer. Anytime, anywhere. You won’t have to ask twice.
I can be very vocal and a little demanding when it comes to playtime and love. If I want attention, you will know it.
I like interaction, enrichment, and being part of the action. I’m harness trained and enjoy walking my human on neighborhood strolls. I love fresh air, adventure, and checking my p mail from my outdoor animal friends.
That said, even though I love adventure, I like my home life to stay fairly consistent. Big changes can stress me out. I do best when I know what to expect and can settle into a steady routine.
I’m not the best with other cats because really, who could compete with my magnificence? When I used to go on walks at my foster’s home, big dogs would bark loudly at me. They probably thought they were intimidating, but honestly? I was just fascinated. I’ll probably do best with older children.
