Hi, I’m Romeo, a 1-year-old lynx point boy with a coat as intricate and beautiful as my mind is bright and active. I am a vibrant, intelligent, and deeply expressive cat who knows exactly what I want and I have a lot of ways to tell you my opinions.

I am affectionate, social, and very tuned in to my people. I love being involved in everything you do, and I will communicate constantly about what I like, what I do not like, what toys are my favorite, and when I want attention. I truly feel like the world revolves around my human, and I cannot wait to find my special person who understands me and is ready for my affectionate self that lives up to my namesake.

I am also a high-energy, high-stimulation kitty, which means I need daily interactive play, puzzle toys, treat games, and enrichment to help my mind and body stay balanced. Wand toys are one of my favorite things, and I thrive when I have structure, engagement, and someone who enjoys participating in my busy, curious brain.

One important thing about me is that I am still learning how to communicate in the best ways. Sometimes I get overstimulated and may use love nips as part of my communication. My friends at Happy Cats Haven have been working with me on this, and I am learning better ways to express myself. Because of this, I need a home that understands cat body language, respects boundaries, and is willing to gently redirect me rather than push past my limits.

I will do best in a calm, cat-experienced home where my person understands over stimulation and can help me succeed. I take time to settle into new environments, but once I feel safe and understood, I am incredibly affectionate, loyal, and interactive. I haven’t spent a lot of time with other animals but with a slow introduction, I think I may be great friends with a cat friendly dog or cat who is nice but not pushy and likes to play!

I was once in a place where my behavior made things confusing for people, but I have been learning, growing, and showing more of my loving, joyful self. Now I am ready for a patient, cat-savvy home that will give me the structure and understanding I need to truly thrive.

If you are someone who enjoys deep bonds with a cat who is expressive, intelligent, and full of personality, I think we might be meant for each other.

I can be adopted for $200 which includes my neuter, vaccinations, microchip, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.
