Howdy, I’m Peanut! My name’s high irony as I’m a big handsome bruiser of a cat, not a tasty little legume. If you’re looking for a brawny peanut butter tabby to fill your home with endless whiskers, majesty and feline flirts, I’m your man.
I came here when I was rescued from trying to survive outside after my humans could no longer care for me. My foster mom says I now very glad to be inside, watching outdoor activity from my tall cat tree.
I can have strong opinions, but who’d expect nothing less from such a magnificent specimen! I’ve been thinking I might like laps but am unsure, so it will probably just take time and trust for me to at least be your Sidecar Cat, snuggling right next to you. Brushing is the way to my heart, as long as you let me tell you when to stop.
I can be independent too, so if you’re looking for a grownup cat who can entertain himself when you have other things to do, I’m your guy. Just because I’m a confident 4 years old, that doesn’t mean I don’t rev up my game when you get out the kitty wands! I love to run and chase just like a little whippersnapper. I love to leave small toys in my water bowls as a gift.
I can tolerate the other nice cats here, but probably won’t be buddies with them. Since I had a bad experience with a dog at my last house, I’ll probably do best in a home with no dogs. I’ll do best with children who can respect my boundaries…and opinions!
