At first, I can be shy around new people and animals — the world feels big, and I need a little time to be sure I’m safe. But once I know you’re there to offer love, everything changes.
I become the sweetest little companion: rolling over for belly rubs, hopping into your lap for comfort, and rubbing my head against you like I’m saying, “Okay… I choose you.” I may meow a bit when something new appears in my space, but curiosity always wins — I’ll quietly investigate when I’m ready.
I do well with calmer dogs, happy to share space with them until their energy gets a bit too silly, and then I’ll take myself off to rest in peace. My favorite cozy hideaways are closets or cabinets — I’m quite talented at opening doors to create my own little nests! But at night, you’ll often find me perched peacefully on a cat tree, keeping watch like a quiet guardian of the home.
I’m not a high-energy player, but I adore treats and love finding soft, safe spots where I can relax close to the people I trust. I also have a few simple needs to help me stay my happiest and healthiest self — a little daily pain medicine and a diet of yummy wet food keep me feeling good and ready to share my love.
