Hi, I’m Muffin, a 4 month old tuxedo kitten with a gentle heart and a soft, thoughtful way about me.
I had a rough start and was found trying to survive outside, so I had to learn that people can be safe and kind. Because of that, I can be a little cautious at first. I like to take my time getting to know you. Once I feel comfortable and trust you, my sweet side really shines. I love laps and will happily sit with you for a long time, soaking up quiet affection.
I get along well with other cat friendly cats who are kind and respectful. I enjoy playing and cuddling, but I do not do well with cats who are pushy or domineering. When other cats take over all the attention, I tend to step back and disappear. I would do best with a gentle kitten or adult cat, or I could also be happy as your one and only as long as I get special one on one time each day. I should not be adopted with one of my brothers, as they are a bit too overwhelming for me.
I do okay with older kids who understand how to be calm and respectful, but small children are scary for me. When my foster family’s three year old granddaughter visited, I would run away and hide. A calm, quiet home without young children would be the best fit for me.
I have never been around dogs, so I am not sure how I would feel about them.
I love ball track toys and toy mice, and treats are a great way to my heart. Spending quiet time together with treats like Churu or Temptations really helps me bond and feel safe. With patience, routine, and gentle love, I grow into a very affectionate and loyal little companion.
