Hi, I’m Moe! I’m a big, muted orange tabby with teddy bear charm and a purr motor that rumbles the moment you start petting me. I first came to Happy Cats Haven as a kitten and was adopted into a loving home. After my human mom sadly passed away, I came back to find another kind heart ready to share their life with me.
I’m a mellow, gentle soul who takes a little time to get used to new people and places. But once I feel safe, I enjoy being near my humans, soaking up affection and leaning into a good brushing session. I’m not a lap cat, but I’ll be your constant companion, always nearby and always sweet.
I have a soft mix of independence and affection. I’m sensitive but resilient, with a calm nature that helps me adjust at my own pace. When I met a dog in my foster home, I stayed relaxed and just watched from a few feet away. I didn’t approach, but I wasn’t scared either. I’d likely be OK with a gentle, cat-friendly dog, though I’d prefer to be your one and only.
Give me a few safe spots and a quiet voice gently calling my name, and I’ll begin to come out and trust within just a few days, I love to snuggle under blankets too.
I am about 12 years old, and you can adopt me for $60, which includes my neuter, vaccinations, microchip, a food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help me start off strong.
