My name is MJ, and I’m a handsome tuxedo gentleman with a big heart, a big personality, and, yes, a little extra fluff around the middle. At 10 years young, I’ve mastered the art of being exactly where the action is while still maintaining my dignity.
I’m not what you would call a snuggle bunny. Instead, I’m a true Kitty Admin. I like to supervise household activities, keep tabs on my people, and make sure everything is running smoothly. If you’re cooking dinner, working on the computer, watching TV, or simply relaxing, chances are I’ll be nearby offering my expert guidance and companionship.
I am an affectionate and loyal cat who enjoys attention and petting, especially when I get to choose the timing. Once I trust you, I become deeply devoted to my people and love being involved in daily life. I’m happiest with someone who understands cats and appreciates that relationships are built on mutual respect.
I would love a bright, open home where I can explore, lounge in sunny windows, and perch up high to survey my kingdom. I’m front declawed, so I must remain safely indoors, but don’t let that fool you. I’m surprisingly agile for a big guy and still enjoy jumping onto windowsills, cat trees, chairs, and other elevated spots to keep an eye on things.
Like many confident cats, I have opinions and preferences. I communicate clearly when I’ve had enough attention, so I’m looking for an experienced cat person who understands feline body language and won’t feel the need to constantly pick me up or handle me. Give me the freedom to be a cat, and I’ll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of entertaining moments.
I’m also working on a healthy weight-loss journey and enjoy feather wand toys, laser-pointer games, and other activities that help me stay active while having fun.
My ideal home would be quiet and predictable, with no other pets and no young children. What I really want is someone who appreciates an independent companion and understands that not every wonderful cat needs to be a lap cat. Sometimes the best friendships are built side by side.
