Hello! I’m Loki, the sweetest shy boy you’ll ever meet! I’m gray with faint gray tabby stripes and have been described as “regal” looking, reminiscent of my Russian Blue heritage. I’m a sensitive soul at only 3.5 years old; I’m not too needy, but do enjoy pets and snuggles and lots of affection! Plus, I will happily sit in your lap or on top of your chair once I adjust to my new home. I do enjoy playing with wand toys, lasers, pipe cleaners, and like batting balls back and forth. And, of course, snuggling catnip filled toys! Because I’m a thoughtful, reflective kitty, I really like sitting in front of a screened window or patio door getting fresh air and listening to the outside sounds. (I am, however, a strictly indoor kitty!)
I’m also a well-behaved boy – I always use my litter box, I don’t climb curtains, I only stretch my claws on cardboard scratchers, I don’t scratch or bite and am a pretty chill kitty! (Like most cats I do like to nibble on houseplants, so those should be kept up and away!) And while I’m not much of a conversationalist, I enjoy it when you talk to me! Or yourself, if you don’t mind that I eavesdrop!
Even though I’m only 3.5 years old I’ve had a pretty rough life. My tipped ear badge of courage means I survived some time on the mean streets but I’m so ready for the inside life! I was also separated from my sisters and because I relied on them for safety cues, I NEED to have a friendly sibling (or two) in my new home (either your kitty or a Happy Cats kitty)! I really miss having another kitty to head butt, snuggle up with, groom, and play with.
My ideal home is established and stable, with that kitty sibling who isn’t mean or hissy and will accept and love me. I need my forever home! Could you promise to love and care for me for the rest of my life? If so, I’d love to meet you! Please note that as a shy boy I will initially need my own space in your home. Once I adjust to my surroundings however I will be your snuggly buddy! I’m what you can call a Kitty Admin, I love to hang out with my people and be a purr-sonal assistant.
I do have some medical needs that include a special diet, so please ask an Adoption Counselor about my care. I can be adopted for $120 which includes my neuter, vaccinations, microchip, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.
