Meet Lazlo and Doug, our happy little Odd Couple! Lazlo is the distinguished tuxedo gent of 5 years and Doug is his handsome little ginger friend.
Little Laszlo came to us in foster care when was being bullied by the cats at his last home. He was understandably wary but seemed to be comfortable with younger cats. Doug had been rescued from trying to survive outside as a shy catolescent and was looking for a friend to help him be brave. They had a gentle intro at their loving foster home and now are BFFs!
Laszlo is a confident little fellow with most people once he gets settled, ready to follow you around and help organize your life like any good Kitty Secretary. His foster mom says he loves lap time so much he asks you to slow down and snuggle with him.
Doug is just learning how kind people can be and enjoys a good belly rub. He’s a Snuggle Bunny but more of a Sidecar Cat than a lap cat. That suits Laszlo just fine so they each get what they want with their favorite people.
Both kitties love to play like any active cats. Doug especially likes ping pong balls in the bathtub and Laszlo loves it when you play with wand toys, especially his Cat Dancer.
Because of Laszlo’s history and fear around other animals, they’ll need to go to a home with no cats or dogs. They’ll probably do best in a home with older children who are able to gain their trust with gentle handling.
Laszlo and Doug are bonded and can be adopted together for $120 which includes their neuters, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits, and a free well-kitty checkup each to help you get started. They also come with the cute cat tree you can see them both playing together on. We recommend you wait at least a month until they are coming out and interacting in their home until you take them to the veterinarian.
