At 13 years young, Gray is the definition of a gentle little lady looking for a soft place to land and someone to adore her as much as she’ll adore them right back.
This petite silver sweetheart was sadly surrendered when her previous owner could no longer provide care for her, but Gray hasn’t let that dim her loving spirit. With her soft silvery coat and elegant features, we wouldn’t be surprised if this tiny queen has a little Russian Blue ancestry somewhere in her family tree!
Gray is what we lovingly call a “kitty administrator.” She likes to quietly supervise the household, keep an eye on her people, and make sure everything is running according to her standards before settling in beside you for cuddle time. While she can be a little shy in new environments and may take about a week to feel fully comfortable, once she knows she’s safe, her affectionate side absolutely blossoms. She loves curling up on the couch with her favorite humans while they work, relax, or watch a movie, and she gets genuinely excited to see her people come home.
This sweet senior girl is incredibly gentle and easy to handle, with no history of aggression. Even when she’s feeling unsure, she simply melts into your arms and accepts reassurance with quiet trust. She tolerates other cats just fine, but deep down, Gray is dreaming of a peaceful home where she can be the adored one-and-only princess of the castle. A quieter environment would likely suit her best, though her kind nature means she may also do well with respectful children.
Gray recently had dental work with extractions completed and is feeling much better now. She has also had surgery to resolve a uterine abnormality, and no future concerns are expected from that. While she is naturally very slender, her medical testing did not reveal any underlying illness, and she’s simply considered a petite little lady. She may occasionally benefit from some Miralax support and would appreciate an adopter who continues routine veterinary care to help keep her feeling her best in her golden years.
Her favorite things include seafood dinners, fishy treats, cozy hiding spots, scratching posts, soft couches, and being near the people she loves most. She also loves to talk to you!
