Hi fans, I’m Kuro! I’m a sleek black house panther with big green eyes. I came to Happy Cats when my person didn’t have time for me any more.
I’m a confident little senior lady who knows what she wants and is good about letting you know too! I’m looking for a quiet home where I can be your One and Only, because how could any other pet compete with a queen like me 😻?
I will be your best Kitty Admin cat, following you around and making sure I supervise everything you do. If you’re looking for a chatty cat, someone to tell all your secrets to and listen to mine, I’m your girl!
I’m also very affectionate and love to purr on laps, but as a Say Please Cat, I do have a few rules. I need to give you consent to touch first, with soft blinks or leaning in slightly. I may only be able to tolerate a few strokes at a time.
If you go over my threshold, I may ask you to stop by softly mouthing my discomfort. If you continue, I may bite to tell you NO. I am declawed, so this is the only way I have to let you know that I don’t want to be petted at that moment!
I love to go outside with supervision and am halter trained so you can share that time with me. I come with a cute backpack that my former guardian used to safely take me outside.
They say I’m a senior, but I still love to pounce and play like any youngster! I come with lots of my favorite wand toys so we can have playtime every day, my favorite time of the day.
I also have one big rule about my litterbox, which is that I like it to be clean! It you make sure to scoop it every day, I promise I’ll be good and use it like I’ve been using the one here at Happy Cats. You’d prefer to have your toilet clean when you use it too, wouldn’t you?
My other big rule is that I absolutely must be a single kitty. I’ve been bullied in the past, so I need to be the only pet in the house and no visiting pets. I will probably do best in a home with no small children either.
I’m about 11.5 Â years young and you can adopt me for $60 which includes my spay, vaccinations, microchip, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started. I also have a lot of other cat equipment besides my backpack, including scratchers that I use to scent mark, a cute little hideaway cubby and lots of toys.
