Meet Honey and Dotty, a bonded pair of 9 month old tabby sisters who balance each other beautifully and are waiting patiently for their forever home.
Honey is your classic lovebug and full-time purr machine. The moment you touch her, she melts into total bliss. She goes still, her eyes soften, and her purr motor turns on instantly and stays on as long as the pets continue. Honey adores affection, seeks out attention, and truly just wants to be loved. If you happen to have a Churu, you will instantly become her favorite person in the world. Treats are her love language, and she will happily follow you around in devotion.
Dotty is the quieter soul of the pair and very much a funny Valentine. She has a gentle, sweet presence and does best in a calm, predictable environment where she can feel safe and respected. Dotty may take a little more time to settle in, but once she does, her affectionate and playful side shines through in subtle, endearing ways. She looks to Honey for confidence and comfort, and their bond is truly special.
These girls came to us as part of a family transferred from HSPPR. Their mom was rescued from a hoarding situation with over 40 cats, and while the kittens had a rough start, Honey and Dotty have grown into loving, resilient young cats who are ready for a fresh beginning.
They would do best in a quiet home without children. An adult-only home or one with respectful teenagers would be ideal. Dogs are only a possibility if they are very mellow, well trained, and have lived successfully with cats before. A slow, thoughtful introduction would be essential.
