Meet Flirty Foxy and handsome Fennec, our beautiful tortie-ginger duo! These two siblings came to us from a dangerous outside situation and are so glad to be inside and safe.
Fennec is a short-haired orange tabby boy and his sister, Foxy, is a beautiful short-haired orange & black tortie.
As TLC kitties, they were very scared and shy when they first came in. But our behavior volunteers have worked wonders with them and now they happily come to their names for pets!
In fact, Foxy used to be shyer than her brother but now she’s the first one to meet you at the door. They will probably be Kitty Admins when they follow you around your home. Even though they are not too keen on being held or picked up, each are incredibly affectionate, but each have their own unique ways of giving and receiving love! It is important to these cats that they are asked before petting and a light hand when you get their consent.
They love each other and are often found cuddled together and grooming each other, making them a bonded pair. They take turns being confident now, with each one having the other’s back when they feel scared.
Both siblings are crazy about playing with wand toys to burn off some of their kitty energy and in fact this is their love language. Be sure to wave around those wand toys to win over their hearts and keep them active.
Both kitties do well with other cats but are probably too shy to do well with active dogs. As TLC kitties, they will blossom in a home with adults and older children.
They require at least two in person meet & greets at The Haven before they can go home. They have never lived anywhere but the Haven, so will need at least two months in their Safe Room to make sure they bond with their new family and are confident before they start to learn about regular home life. A Happy Cats Haven Volunteer will facilitate a home install on behalf of the kitties as their Bridger which mean, we bring the kitties to you! You’ll get to experience every new thing with them, just as if they were kittens!
We love keeping best friends together, so our Friends & Family Discount lets the pair go home with an adoption fee of $150. That includes their neuter/spay, microchips, vaccinations, a food & litter starter kit each plus a free well-kitty checkup with one of our wonderful partner vets each.
As TLC kitties, Foxy and Fennec also come with TLC training to help them continue to blossom, a top-loading carrier each, a pet cam to help you monitor them for their extra Safe Room time, their toys and beds as well as a home installation with their friends on the behavior team so they get the best possible start with their new family.
