Hi there! Are you ready to meet Elfie and Dove, our dreamy duo? They’re not just sisters; they’re best friends! They’re sweet, fun-loving kitties ready to enchant your home with love and laughter!
Dove is the sleek, black micro-panther and Elfie is the beautiful silver tabby, both with gold eyes with jade centers. They were rescued trying to survive outside when they were still kittens and are now ready for their new home and family to love.
These girls follow the way of the Say Please Cat, so they have a few rules. They were a little slow to trust at first because of their dangerous early life outside, but now they are very happy to see their friends and especially enjoy playtime.
They’ve dreamt of a loving home where they could blossom together with their new family. They love soft, gentle pets and calm, soothing voices.
If you take it slowly and allow them to ask you for pets first, they will relax and trust you more quickly. Once they feel safe, they won’t be able to resist when you sit with a blanket in your lap to offer a brush, toy, snacks or just closeness.
Their dream home has high perches and low tented beds, sunny windows, and lots of time for play with their favorite string and wand toys…and they come with a tall cat tree, beds and toys to help with that! Can’t forget their favorite treats either – they love squeeze treats and freeze dried chicken or salmon, and will come with a supply of that too.
They survived outside by being cautious, but if they are introduced gradually, they will adapt and do well. They are still a bit unsure around unexpected movements and loud sounds, so will flourish in a mature home with no dogs or children. A gentle introduction to other nice cats will help them settle in if you have one or two at home.
They know their names and a few tricks too! They would like 2 in-person meet-&-greets at The Haven with their favorite volunteers to bridge them to their new family.
They have never lived anywhere but here, so will need at least 2 months in their Safe Room to make sure they bond with their new family and are confident before they start to learn about regular home life.
A peaceful environment where they can spend lots of time getting to know you would be perfect for them. If you have a sunny spot to share, a warm lap for snuggles, and a heart ready to embrace two brave survivors, then they will be the perfect addition to your family!
They are both about 2 years old. They are bonded sisters and provide each other with comfort and confidence, so our Friends & Family Discount lets the pair go home with an adoption fee of $180. That includes their spays, microchips, vaccinations, a food & litter starter kit each plus a free well-kitty checkup with one of our wonderful partner vets each.
Dove & Elfie also come with their tall cat tree, TLC support to help them continue to blossom, a top-loading carrier each, a pet cam to help you monitor them for their extra Safe Room time, their toys and beds, treats as well as a home installation with their friends on the behavior team so they get the best possible start with their new family.
