Hi there. My name is Dennis, and I am a little survivor with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
I may have started life with a challenge, but you might never notice it once you see me zooming around and playing. I came from an outdoor colony where I was having a hard time getting enough to eat, partly because I am missing half of my left rear leg. Since coming into care, though, I have shown everyone just how resilient kittens can be. I have adapted beautifully to indoor life and take everything in stride.
When it comes to other cats, I am an absolute party animal. I love wrestling, chasing, and playing with my feline friends. I am also comfortable around respectful dogs who know how to be gentle with a playful kitten like me.
Toys are the fastest way to my heart. I go wild for wand toys, interactive toys, springs, and chasing balls. Sometimes I even growl when I play with my toys, but it is all bark and no bite. I probably learned that little habit while competing for resources outside, but now it just makes playtime a little more dramatic and fun.
I can be a little shy at first, but the moment someone picks up a toy, my worries start to melt away. Before long, I will be leaning in for pets and purring loudly with happiness.
When playtime is over, I enjoy the cozy life too. I love curling up on the couch, soaking up a sunny window, and watching the world go by. And do not let my missing leg fool you. I am a fearless cat tree climber and keep up with the best of them.
I may have had a tough start, but I am a joyful little guy who is ready to bring laughter, love, and plenty of playtime to my forever family.
All I need now is a loving home to keep the party going.
