Hi, my name is Cricket.
I am a quiet, thoughtful girl who likes to take in the world at my own pace. When I first arrive somewhere new, I may choose a cozy hiding spot while I get my bearings, but it does not take me long to start exploring and feeling comfortable.
I am a bit shy with new people and tend to step back when someone enters the room, but I do enjoy gentle pets and will approach you once I feel safe. I am not a lap cat right away, but I love soft attention and will happily let you pick me up with no fuss at all. I also like to chat and will respond when you talk to me.
One of my favorite activities is looking out the window and watching the world go by. I have not shown much interest in toys yet, but I am curious and observant and may discover new favorite activities as I settle in. I have not had direct introductions to other animals, but I show calm interest in cats nearby and do not seem bothered by them.
I would do best in a patient, loving home where I can build confidence at my own pace and continue to blossom. If you are looking for a gentle companion who appreciates quiet connection and thoughtful affection, I might be the perfect match for you.
