Well hello, I’m Claudine! I’m a big, beautiful kitty lady with long black locks and tufty toes and ears, a lot like my cousins the Maine Coons only no fussy papers. I came here when my guardian died suddenly. I was scared and sad, but am starting to come out of my shell, ready to love again.
I was pretty traumatized when I was first rescued, making me a Funny Valentine who needs a safe place to hide while I get my bearings. I may still need that and more time in my Safe Room at my new home, but once I get to know you, I will shyly come out to my name to trade purrs for pets.
After that, I will be your best Snuggle Bunny ever. I love laps and cuddling next to you, purring and making biscuits the whole time. In fact, I make air biscuits with my paws even when I’m just standing by you!
I didn’t get much chance to play at my previous home, but I’m a curious lady and will love exploring new cat toys with my new people friends.
I cope with other cats by hiding, so will probably blossom into my most loving self in a home with no other animals. If you have an extra sweet adult cat with lots of cat experience who won’t bully me, I may be able to adapt to them.
Please make sure you have time to spend with me as I really need that sweet human affection to bring out my best. I’ll do best in a home with shy-cat-savvy older children and no dogs please.
At about 4 years old, I can be adopted for $100 which includes my spay, vaccinations, microchip, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.
