Hi there. My name is Chaquita, and I am a blue eyed beauty with a soft heart that is ready to bloom.
With my stunning sapphire blue eyes, silky lynx point Siamese coat, and graceful presence, I tend to quietly steal hearts. I may not be the type to demand the spotlight, but once you notice me, I have a feeling you will not forget me.
My story started in a very difficult place. I was found abandoned and starving in a dumpster at a gas station on a busy intersection, trying my best to survive on my own. Thankfully, kind people stepped in to help me, and with a few weeks of patience and gentle care, my sweet personality began to shine through.
I have a playful little hunter spirit. I absolutely love chasing toy mice, leaping after the cat dancer, and batting around toy balls. I am especially obsessed with those electronic cat chaser toys. Watching me play can be quite the show.
When it comes to affection, I prefer a soft and gentle approach. Once I trust you, I enjoy pets and being near my people. I may not be a lap cat, but I love sharing your space and keeping you company like a great little Kitty Admin, often settling nearby where I can feel safe and connected.
Because I can startle easily, I would do best in a calm home with patient adopters who understand that trust takes time. With kindness and a little patience, I will reward you with my quiet companionship and loving nature.
Some of my favorite simple joys include a warm sunny window, watching fish swim in a tank like my own personal TV, relaxing on a high perch where I can observe the world, and of course plenty of toys for playtime adventures.
I get along well with other cats and respectful dogs, but I could also be perfectly happy as your one and only feline companion. I also have excellent litter box manners and am a very tidy little lady. I’ll probably do best with older children.
