Hi there. We’re Casper and Bella, two golden-hearted senior sweethearts looking for a very special person to love us through our best years and beyond.
Life has changed a lot for us recently. We spent our entire lives with the family who raised us from kittens and loved us dearly. When our owners passed away, our world was turned upside down. Their daughter worked tirelessly to make sure we would be safe, even when circumstances made it impossible for her to keep us herself. Now we’re hoping to find one final forever home where we can feel secure, cherished, and loved for the rest of our days.
The first thing you should know about us is that we’re completely devoted to each other.
I’m Casper, the handsome gentleman of the pair. I’m a certified lap cat, professional snuggle bun, and enthusiastic conversationalist. I love being close to my people and am happiest curled up in a warm lap or snoozing beside you in bed. I can be a little shy at first, but once I know you’re safe, I’ll happily share all my affection with you. I especially enjoy spending time with my best friend Bella, and I always feel most at home when she’s nearby.
And I’m Bella. If you’ve ever dreamed of being loved by a gentle little shadow, I may be your girl. My favorite thing in the world is Casper. I groom him, follow him around, and make sure I always know where he is. We’ve spent our entire lives together and simply belong side by side. While I adore Casper, I have plenty of love left over for my people too. I’m a sweet, gentle girl who enjoys quiet companionship and being close to those I trust.
We’re looking for an adopter who understands that senior pets are treasures. We aren’t looking for a temporary stop on our journey. We’re looking for our forever person. Someone who sees the beauty in gray whiskers, appreciates the comfort of a warm lap cat, and understands that love only grows deeper with age.
Bella does have some special medical needs. She has arthritis that requires ongoing treatment to keep her comfortable, and she is currently receiving hospice care for an inoperable cancer. While we don’t know exactly how much time we have together, we do know that Bella deserves to spend every day surrounded by kindness, comfort, and love. She still enjoys life, enjoys her favorite people, and most importantly, enjoys being with Casper.
Both of us will need an adopter committed to continuing our veterinary care and prescription diet. Experience giving medication and caring for senior pets would be wonderful, though the most important thing is a patient heart and a willingness to learn. We may also appreciate a few extra litterboxes and a calm, predictable home where we can settle in comfortably.
In return, we’ll offer something truly special. We’ll fill your home with quiet companionship, gentle purrs, loving head bumps, and the kind of gratitude that only comes from cats who know they’ve been given a second chance.
What we want most is simple: a soft place to sleep, a loving hand to pet us, and the comfort of knowing that we’ll never have to be displaced again.
At 8 years & 11 years, you can adopt us for $90 which includes our spay & neuter, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.
