Please meet this calm and noble pair of dapper bonded brothers! Cyrus and Caplin are ready to lean into the retired like of being pampered and loved on for the rest of their days! Cyrus has black over both eyes and Caplin has the black chin.
Caplin is the sweetest boy. He is a beautiful black and white short hair with a phantom mask over one eye. And a smudge on his chin. He even has some pink toe beans!
These boys came to us after their owner passed away. But more than being with other cats, these babies enjoy their precious time with their favorite humans more.
Caplin cherishes being pet and sometimes, he will come rub against your leg and ask to be held. IHe likes being held close and carried around. He will even nuzzle under your chin. When he is ready to be placed down, he will politely meow to let you know.
Caplin does okay with other cats as long as they are sweet and kind like him. I have been bullied a little by my brother and I don’t want to go through that again.
Both boys are very affectionate, but also pretty independent as well. So, they will be okay to take naps and hang out by themselves when you are busy. They can be seen often lying next to each other snuggling and washing faces.
Bothe Cyrus and Caplin love to play still! Caplin loves to be entertained when his people try to play with him, he kind of sticks out his paw enthusiastically but he is not too sure what to do with it, which is adorable. They just like to watch the pretty toys go back and forth. Cyrus is a slightly better hunter. They do enjoy being the center of attention!

Cyrus is a very relaxed and loving kitty who loves to give lots of kisses. He will follow you around the house and loves to be kissed on the forehead.
He has an endearing but hoarse meow that he uses for attention and its pretty cute. He could be pet for hours and never complain. He also likes to be told how handsome he is.
Cyrus has been placed on a steroid medication. It helps him go about his days just like any other cat and it has helped him out a ton. Cyrus is also missing some teeth; he is on a wet food only diet. Sometimes he gets overzealous with his kibble.
You may think that at first glance, he acts like an innocent, homely old man with early Retirment plans. But on the inside… he still has a mischievous kitten side. He loves to play with cloth ribbons on a wand. He will play for hours and hours and even chirp at you with happiness during his sessions.
Both cats will be wonderful companions. They do a good job making you feel special and loved. Please stop by to give these guys some love!
Caplin is about 8 years old, and Cyrus is about 7. We love keeping best friends together, so our Friends & Family Discount lets the pair go home with an adoption fee of $150. That includes their neuters, microchips, vaccinations, a food & litter starter kit each plus a free well-kitty checkup with one of our wonderful partner vets each.
