Hi, I’m Boo!
I’m a beautiful 6-year-old Maine Coon mix with luscious black locks, bright green eyes, and a heart that has survived more than most.
What I am looking for is someone who sees me for who I truly am!
I am a highly intelligent girl with a strong sense of self. I know what I like and what I don’t. I have boundaries and preferences, and when those are respected, I am affectionate, engaging, and deeply rewarding to know & love. Once I bond with my people, I love being near them and can even become a lap cat. Human companionship is one of my favorite things, and I do best with someone who is home often and enjoys spending time together.
I adore playtime and hunting for treats, I am familiar with clicker training and love to work and play with my friends at happy cats to keep me stimulated & entertained.
My dream home is quiet, stable, and predictable. No children. No other pets. Just me and my person, building a life together based on understanding and trust. A catio would be an absolute dream come true. I spent time outside when I should have been safe indoors, and while the world fascinates me, what I truly crave now is security. A place where I can enjoy the sights, sounds, and sunshine while knowing I am protected.
I need a cat-savvy person who understands that trust is earned, communication matters, and relationships take work. Someone who will respect my boundaries, celebrate my progress, and never give up on me when things get difficult. I need a human who understands that behavior is communication and who is willing to continue the training and support that has helped me come so far!
I am currently taking medication to help support my anxiety, after spending some time fending for myself outside and away from my home. It has helped me tremendously, and I continue to thrive with routine, consistency, and patient guidance.
I am looking for the person who recognizes my divine little spirit, who understands that some souls need extra care, and who believes that every challenge is worth it when love is involved.
