I’m 9 years old, and I’ve seen my share of life’s ups and downs. I was adopted as a kitten and recently returned through no fault of my own. Even though life hasn’t always been easy, my faith in people still shines bright. Through it all, I’ve stayed the same sweet, tender-hearted cat I’ve always been — calm, kind, and quietly grateful for gentle love.
I’m blind due to cataracts, so I experience the world a little differently. What I need most is a loving, patient person who will give me understanding and a consistent environment to help me feel secure. Once I learn the layout of my home, I get around beautifully! I use my other senses — and your voice — to guide me. It’s pretty amazing, even if I say so myself, to see how confidently I can explore, find my favorite cozy spots, and snuggle up next to someone I trust. I may not see you, but I’ll always feel your kindness.
I’m what my friends here lovingly call a “say please” cat. I just like to know you’re there before you reach out to pet me. Once I realize you’re offering affection, I’ll lean in with all my heart, purr softly, and show you just how much I love being close. I adore laps, gentle pets, and the simple comfort of knowing I’m safe and loved.
Because of my special needs, my new adopter will work closely with the behavior team to learn how to approach and care for me in ways that make me feel confident and secure. With kindness and consistency, I’ll blossom into the affectionate lap kitty I’m meant to be — and I promise, your heart will burst with the trust and love I give in return.
