Hi, I’m Ms. Blaze, a truly handsome snowshoe girl with long, luxurious fur and a striking blaze that makes me impossible to forget.
I’m about 10 years old and very much a one of a kind kind of cat. I take a little time to warm up, but once I decide you’re my person, my sweet, curious personality really shines. I love being involved in whatever you’re doing and prefer to observe the action from a cozy perch before gracefully jumping in. I’m confident, observant, and not shy about asking for attention when I want it.
Chin scratches and gentle pets are my absolute favorite, and I’ll happily come up to you to ask for them. Belly rubs, however, are not my thing, and I appreciate a human who respects my boundaries. I enjoy interactive play like wand toys and anything I can stalk and pounce on, but I also have a calm side and knows when it’s time to relax. When the day winds down, I love curling up on a soft blanket or sleeping next to you or at the foot of the bed, making me a wonderful nighttime companion.
I am a big fan of treats and will come running the moment I hear the treat bag shake. I also do a great job staying hydrated and enjoy drinking plenty of water. I eat dry food only and have done very well on Hills Science Diet Urinary Hairball Control for many years.
It’s very important to know that I need to be the only pet in the home. I was declawed as a kitten before I was adopted, and because of that, I am fearful of other animals and children. I do not do well with cats, dogs, or kids, and I would thrive in a quiet, adult only home where I can feel safe and secure. I’ve always lived as an only pet and that is where I am happiest.
I use unscented clay clumping litter and prefer brands like Arm and Hammer, as scented litter makes me sneeze.
