Meet Basil & Rosemary! They’re both adorable little brown tabby girls with big amber eyes. Basil has the distinctive stripes and Rosemary has swirls with bright white patches. They came to Happy Cats when their people could no longer care for them.
Rosemary is a Kitty Secretary, who loves to hang out with her humans. She’ll even supervise you when you’re doing your chores, and give you a little meep or headbutt of encouragement! Basil starts out a little shy but soon turns into your best little Snuggle Bunny, ready to curl up on laps and trade purrs for pets.
They both appreciate a lighter hand in petting and being able to get to know you first before they give their hearts away. Once they know they’re safe, they’ll both blossom into active little ladies who love to play. They especially love wand toys with ribbons on them but will toss around ball toys too!
They do fine with other nice kitties, but will do best in a quieter home without young children or dogs. They’ve been through a lot together and Rosemary has Basil’s back to help her be more brave.
With help from a Petfinder grant, these loving little 4-month-olds can be adopted together for $210, which includes their spays, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits, and a free well-kitty checkup each to help you get started.
