Howdy, I’m Anubis! My friends call me Nubie and I’m a large ebony gent with the size and long fluffy tail of my cousins the Maine Coons, just no fancy papers to go with. I came here when my people had to move but couldn’t take me with them.
I’m a very loving guy, one of the first ones to meet you at the door, ready for headbonks and purrs. I’ll be the one who curls up next to you to keep you warm this fall and follows you around to make sure your life is purrfect!
At only 2 years old, I still love to play like a kitten when you get out the wand toys! I love to chase around on the catwalks here so would love to have a cat tree or catification where I can get up high at my new home too.
I may have been stressed at my last home as I sometimes went outside the box. I haven’t done that in the 2 months I’ve been back, so we think I just need a quieter home and very clean boxes, just like I get here.
I do well with my friends here at Happy Cats so may do fine with another nice cat as long as they aren’t litterbox bullies! But really, if you’re looking for a regal fellow to be the king of your house, I’m your man. I may do OK with older children but no dogs please.
