Introducing our beautiful Siamese sisters Annie and Lennox! Both are gorgeous seal point ladies with blue eyes that show off their Siamese heritage. Please scroll down to see their photo portfolio!
They are classic Funny Valentines which means they are shy when you first meet them. They had a rough start in life so will probably always be the ones who run from anything new at first.
They will need to be adopted to a family within 30 or so miles of Happy Cats so they don’t get too fearful, but they come with a home installation by one of our behavior volunteers to help set them up to feel safe and loved so they can blossom into their new lives.
They are affectionate little ladies once you get to know them, always trading purrs for pets with the people they know well! The best way to earn their trust is to sit on the floor with them and use a sparkler toy or a cat dancer to play with them. Once they are playing and are actively engaged, you can offer your hand for petting and you should begin to get shy but loving headbonks.
These girls really enjoy sweet talk in a higher pitch tone of voice. Often times you can get them to make biscuits if you talk to them this way. They are also not opposed to some yummy temptation treats!
They do not like to be picked up or held yet but with some time with a single hooman they will likely learn to tolerate it if you go slow.
Annie
Annie is lighter in color compared to her sister Lennox. Annie is the braver of the two and will likely be the first to greet you and or come out for you. She loves back scratches and will give you a lot of elevator butt if you scratch right by her tail.
Lennox
Lennox is the darker sister and will likely follow Annie’s lead. She will observe from her hiding spot to see how Annie is being treated.
If all goes well with Annie, Lennox will likely come out for some slow pets. When she is really happy she will make biscuits while she stands which makes her look like she is dancing!
They would do best in a home without a lot of activity, so please no young children or active dogs. Annie likes to be in charge, so they will probably do best as the only princesses in your castle. You can see they are both Tree Dwellers, so a high cat tree or catification will help them be more confident.
They are about a year old and you can adopt them together for $180 which includes their spays, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started. They also come with our free home installation to set them up for success, with behavioral and placement advice.
