Alex & Steve
Hey there, meet Alex and Steve! Alex is the dapper silver tabby and Steve is his handsome orange tabby brother. They came to Happy Cats after they were rescued from trying to survive outside with their siblings, including Pikachu.
Because of their rough start, they both prefer getting to know someone before they’re ready to give their hearts away. They both know their names and will be happy to come meet you once they know they’re safe. Proper introductions by their Happy Cats friends and squeeze treats don’t hurt when they’re getting to know all about you!
Alex will probably be the first one out, with his tail a bit fluffy and excited. Once he trusts you, he’ll almost certainly be your best little Kitty Admin, always up for pets (light ones to start please) and purrs. He will be a Snuggle Bunny once he’s settled, wanting to be touched and loved.
Steve may need a little more convincing, but he’s usually right behind Alex, appreciating those light pets too. His copper eyes and big ears will melt your heart! Both are ready to hang out and purr their little whiskers off once they get comfy.
At about 5 months old, they’re right in the middle of playful kittenhood, ready to deliver your live-streaming kitten action! Kitty wands are a favorite, but really, just about any toy will get them pouncing and leaping.
Alex never met a cat he didn’t like, but Steve takes a little more time getting to know other cats. It’s not long before his shy growls turn into playtime with his new friends. If you do a slow, gentle intro with a nice cat-savvy dog, they will probably adapt to them too. Both will do best with older children.
They’re bonded brothers and with our Friends & Family discount, they can be adopted for $300. That includes their neuters, vaccinations, microchips, a food and litter starter kit each, and a free well-kitty checkup each to help you get started.
