Hi there, I’m Freckles, a beautiful five-year-old light brown tabby boy with a gentle heart and plenty of love to give. I came to Happy Cats from a partner shelter, and now I’m hoping to find a calm, loving forever home where I can truly settle in and shine.
I can be a little shy at first and may need a minute to warm up to new people and surroundings. But once I feel safe, I turn into a total snuggle bunny. I love cozy naps, quiet companionship, and spending time close to my favorite humans.
I do well with other cats!
I am FIV positive, but don’t worry, that sounds a lot scarier than it actually is! Most FIV+ cats live normal, happy lives with regular vet visits to keep an eye on things like our dental health. As you may notice, I’m a tripod kitty, which just means I get around a little differently than other cats. I do best when my family is thoughtful about how I navigate the home, with easy-to-reach cozy spots and safe places to climb and explore. My missing leg certainly does not stop me from being a sweet, loving, handsome boy.
