Hi, I’m Sylvester. I’m an 11 year old handsome tuxedo long hair gentleman with a big heart and an even bigger love for food and attention.
I came to Happy Cats Haven after my owner was no longer able to care for me. While change can be a little scary, I’ve handled it with grace and sweetness, which really sums up my personality.
I can be a bit timid at first, but I have never shown aggression or hissing. Once I know I’m safe, I’m friendly, affectionate, and happy to soak up all the love you’re willing to give. I’ll be your best little Snuggle Bunny, cuddling with you wherever you are.
Once I get established, I get along very well with other cats people of all ages, but I’ll do best with older children. I’m quite social with other cats and would be happy living with a furry friend. That said, I would also do just fine as your one and only, soaking up all the attention myself.
One thing you should know about me is that I love to eat. All food is good food in my book, and meal time is one of my favorite parts of the day. I prefer an open litter box with clay litter and have excellent litter box manners.
That doesn’t mean I’m a couch potato though! I love my daily playtime so much that I make sure my foster mom knows when it’s time to get out the cat toys to pounce and play.
If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing senior kitty who still has lots of love to give and would fit beautifully into just about any home, I might be the perfect Sylvester for you.
I can be adopted for $60 which includes my neuter, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started. I also had a full dental with the nice folks at Happy Cats so my shiny whites are good to go!
