My absolute favorite thing to do in the whole world is snuggle in my person’s lap, purring and making biscuits until I fall asleep. I am a professional lap warmer and an excellent TV watching buddy. I will happily curl up next to you in bed too. If you are sitting, I am in your lap. That is just how this works.
My past is a bit of a mystery. I showed up outside one day and went through the Trap Neuter Return program, which is why I am rocking my adorable ear tip. Somewhere along the way I decided that I LOVE people. I may or may not have had a home before, but I definitely want one now.
I adore soft places to sleep, catnip filled toys, feather wands, plush balls, kicker toys, toy mice, and that laser pointer thing. I love watching mouse videos on YouTube, although I do sometimes try to bat the TV to catch them. I also enjoy indoor cat grass and would think a safe catio is pretty amazing since I used to spend time outdoors. Do not worry though, I have excellent indoor manners. I use my litter box like a gentleman, scratch my scratcher instead of furniture, and do not eat houseplants.
My second favorite thing after cuddling is eating. Especially those lickable treats like Delectables. I am very food motivated and very smart, which means treats are a great way to train me. I learn fast and have a good memory. More than anything, I want to make my person happy. Your love and attention are my favorite rewards.
I am also quite the conversationalist. I am very vocal and good at letting you know if I am lonely, hungry, or feeling ignored. Since I am talking to you, I like it when you talk back to me too.
I will come with my medical records, including a recent extensive workup. The vet says I am very healthy except that I am FIV positive. Being FIV positive does not slow me down or stop me from living a full, happy life. With indoor living and routine vet care, I can thrive just like any other kitty. I am cat averse and do not get along with other cats, so I need to be your one and only feline. I admit I do not love dogs either. I might be okay with an older or small calm dog who will not chase me, but they do make me nervous. I have done well with older children and prefer a laid back home. Men tend to scare me, so I would really love a home with a lady or a calm couple where I can bond closely with my person.
I will need a little time to adjust to my new home and will appreciate having a safe space at first. Once I settle in, we will be besties. My foster mom says I am the sweetest cat she has ever met, and I even give hugs.
If you are looking for a snuggly best friend who will adore you every single day, I might just be your best present ever. What I want most is someone who will love me unconditionally and give me the happy, stable forever home I crave. And maybe some Delectables too.
