Stunning white Sapphire with her black cap, tail and beauty marks became the big sister to handsome buff tabby Ollie 6 years ago. These green-eyed besties came to Happy Cats looking for a quieter family and more predictable home life.
Ollie is the spokescat of the pair, the first one to meet you and tell you all about his day. He’ll be your perfect little Kitty Admin once he’s settled, hanging out with you and making sure your day is a little brighter. Ollie loves to be petted and brushed, but has a 5 Stroke Limit or he gets a bit overstimulated. If you respect his boundaries, he may be the lap cat who keeps you warm all winter long.
Sapphire is a little more quiet than Ollie, preferring to watch at first when she meets new people. Once she knows you’re kind, she’ll be right there with Ollie for pets and purrs, a pair of loving Kitty Admins! She loves both pets and brushing and will probably be a great little Sidecar Cat, cuddling up right next to you with Ollie.
At only 7 and 6, they still love to play with their kitty wands. You will probably need to give Sapphire playtime away from Ollie as he can get a little overbearing with her. He’ll do best if you can help him get out that energy a couple times a day. She will appreciate nooks and cubbies where she can have some alone time.
Sapphire is one of our Litterbox Lab cats who just needed the chance to tell us what she needed to solve her issues. Simple changes like adding boxes and bringing them inside the house, using unscented litter and regular high-sided boxes–not an automatic one–helped her feel more secure and confident with her habits. She has had no issues since she has been in our care and is a proud Litterbox Lab grad!
They’ll do best in a quieter home with no other animals and no small children to keep them both on the right track.
They can be adopted together for $180 with our Friends & Family Discount. That includes their spay and neuter, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits each, a free well-kitty checkup each with one of our wonderful partner vets.
