Hi world, I’m Benny. I’m a muscular, super confident, handsome tuxedo boy with big green eyes, a silky black coat, and cute white socks.
My foster mom took me in when my owner could no longer care for me. I am an adventure minded kitty who thrives on enrichment, exploration, and structure. I am harness trained and ready to continue that lifestyle with my new family. While I will tolerate walking with you and enjoy shared adventures, I especially love having space to explore safely, whether that is through supervised harness time or a well set up catio. I come with a breakaway collar with bells and a Cat Stop collar cover that birds and people can see. I think I look regal, so please don’t laugh.
Unlike many confident, independent cats, I absolutely adore people too. It is important to me to have a family I can sleep inside with, sharing purrs and pets. While I am very friendly and will eventually give you head butts and leg rubs to claim you as mine once I get to know you, I am not the biggest lap cat, though I may settle into one over time.
I’m about 6 years old but still have lots and lots of kitten energy. I love to zoom around the house, bounce from place to place, and get up high where I can survey my domain. Another confident, friendly, playful cat or cats would be great for me. I will benefit from a lot of “catification” at home, including cat trees, wall shelves and interactive toys and treat puzzles.
I also enjoy interactive play with my people, especially feather tipped wand toys under rugs or held high so I can leap and show off my athletic skills. I previously lived with a small dog and would likely do well with calm, non aggressive larger dogs with a slow & gentle introduction.
I have a big personality to match my stature. I am social, charming, and unforgettable, the kind of cat who becomes the heart of the home. I am really looking for a family that embraces my adventure kitty spirit and is excited to continue harness training and indoor enrichment with me, maybe I would do well going on hikes!
