Lando Catrissian Strikes Back!

The Joy of Bringing a Cat Cafe Companion Into a Forever Home

There’s something truly magical about adopting a cat, especially one from a cat cafe. Lando’s story is a perfect example of this magic. From the moment he was adopted, his new family knew he was the perfect fit. His journey from the Biscuit Factory to his forever home has been full of love, laughter, and playful moments. Here’s a glimpse into the joy Lando brings every day.

Lando’s Personality: Full of Charm and Quirky Habits

Lando isn’t just any cat—he’s a character. He adores being around his humans, and as many of the visitors at the Biscuit Factory might remember, he’s happiest when he’s on laps, countertops, or anywhere they are. Especially when salmon is involved! He’s incredibly persistent about getting a taste of that fish. But honestly, it’s hard to resist him when he looks up with those big, loving eyes and purrs so loudly that it’s easy to mistake him for a small engine. He’s earned many nicknames over time: Car (for his loud, motor-like purr), Beans (for his adorable toe beans that he uses to make biscuits), and, of course, the infamous Attack Cat (which we’ll dive into later!).

Life with Lando: A Playful and Affectionate Spirit

One of the sweetest things about Lando is his relationship with Thor, the family’s 80-pound golden retriever. Lando absolutely loves Thor, often head-butting him and playing with his fluffy tail. While Thor isn’t always sure how to play back, the two have developed their own version of hide-and-seek, and it’s beyond cute. Their play is gentle and sweet, making it clear that their bond was meant to be.

The Little Trouble-Maker: Attack Cat

Of course, Lando has a mischievous side. Once night falls, he transforms into Attack Cat. His favorite game is sneaking up on legs from around corners and then pouncing—never with claws, just playful, mischievous fun. There were some nights when his antics meant rearranging the bed to avoid him pouncing on his owner’s head while they slept! Fortunately, they’ve figured out a solution. Now, Lando simply curls up next to his human’s face, staring at them first thing in the morning, ready for breakfast. It’s a funny (and slightly nervous) moment when the owner opens their eyes to see Lando there, waiting. And if that wasn’t enough, Lando has even taught Thor to be part of the morning wake-up routine. These two have become quite the dynamic duo!

What Adoption Means to the Family

Adopting Lando has brought immeasurable joy to the family. His playful spirit, affectionate nature, and quirky personality make him truly one of a kind. He’s settled in perfectly, and his family can’t imagine life without him. Lando’s journey is a reminder of how impactful the adoption process can be, not just for the cats but for the humans who get to welcome them into their homes. And it’s thanks to the cat cafe that he had a chance to meet his forever family—a place where cats like Lando can roam free, meet potential adopters, and find their perfect match.

How Donors and Adopters Make a Difference

Whether someone is considering adopting or has already welcomed a furry friend into their life, their support plays a huge role in making these happy endings possible. Donations ensure that cat cafes like the Biscuit Factory can continue to provide safe, loving spaces for cats, where they can grow, socialize, and wait for their forever homes. Every dollar, every kind gesture helps create more stories like Lando’s.

For those considering adoption, visiting a local cat cafe is a wonderful way to meet the many lovable cats waiting for a second chance. Who knows? Maybe they’ll meet their very own Lando, ready to bring laughter, love, and a bit of mischief into their lives.

Thank you to all who help make these beautiful adoption stories possible!
